About Chen Tai Chi
Chen style tai chi is the original style of Tai Chi Chuan, and is characterized by its silk reeling movements, alternating fast and slow motions, and bursts of power. While the style is gentle enough to be practiced by those of all stages of life and athletic abiilty, it is also known to be the most martial and applicable of tai chi styles.
Our Tai Chi classes are taught by Kim Danner, who has been practicing since 2007. Classes have aspects of both sitting and standing, and teaching is adjusted as needed to accommodate the ability of each student.
